I get this statement over and over: “I have no wall space left. I love the photos but don’t know what to do with them!” No worries, friends. As professional photography has increased in popularity, you can easily turn your photos into just about anything. (I even saw one print site offering to turn portraits into puzzles!) The possibilities are endless. So, here are a few of my favorite options that I offer to my clients:

  1. Albums

Simple. Classic. Accessible. Of course, albums have been around for a while (I remember my parents having stacks of them), but now that everything is digital, we’re seeing less of them. We forget to print our photos, and then they become lost in the black hole that is our iPhone. You don’t have to print all of them, but professional photography is meant to be printed, shared, and enjoyed. Albums are a fun and easy way to keep your best memories and photos alive. If I’m not sure what I want to do with a photo yet, I just go ahead and add it to an album so it’s not forgotten.

  1. Mini Accordion Books

These are kind of a modern twist on albums, and they’re great to give as gifts, especially to grandparents or family members you don’t see often. They don’t take up too much space and are easy to keep on-hand or in a purse. If you need a little something extra to add to a Valentine’s Day gift, these are perfect (cute stocking stuffers at Christmas, too)!

  1. Small Prints

Pictures are not a ‘go big or go home’ kind of thing. You don’t have to hang every photo above the mantel or on the walls. Don’t forget to make small prints for desktops, nooks, and surfaces. (Tip: Easily display and change out photos by adding plexiglass to a coffee or corner table. Just stick the photos underneath). My husband has a small print on his desk at work, and he gets so many compliments on it. It’s a sweet visual reminder to him throughout the day when things get rough.

  1. Glass Box with Prints

This is a great option for a more formal display. If you have a special occasion (like weddings, baptisms, anniversaries, etc.) or are looking to honor a loved one, put your memoirs in here for a beautiful, personalized touch.

If you have any idea in mind, let me know, and we can make it happen! I’d love to help you find a beautiful way to display your memories.
