Last week, we had my daughter's first game of her very first t-ball season ever! It was super cute! I could’ve watched these kiddos play all day. It might have been even more entertaining than professional baseball, in my opinion. They all had they little gloves that still somehow seemed too big for their five- and six-year-old hands. And they are just old enough that the majority of them were really trying instead of picking daisies in the outfield. They all worked so hard. And what kind of family photographer would I be if I didn’t try to capture it all?! Thankfully, we had beautiful weather. It was a little bright for the camera, but I made it work, and I love how these images came out. This is what photography is all about – capturing those precious moments and first-time experiences with your kids.
I was amazed at how well these kids did! They would pitch three balls and then pull the T out so each of them got a shot at hitting with coach pitch! It was hilarious and cute to watch. My daughter already has a pretty good swing going on! I know I’m biased because I’m her mother, but I was so proud of her! They all had a blast figuring out the game and scrambling around the bases. I love that they offer a co-ed t-ball league here, and it was great to see all the kids working so well together. T-ball really is a great way to start teaching kids about life and how to work as a team despite any height, age, or gender differences.
After watching these kiddos play their first game, I’d recommend it to any parent! The kids had a blast and so did the parents. And the coaches are absolutely amazing. I can’t thank them enough for how patient and good they are with our kids.
Hope you enjoy these cute photos from our day at the ball park!
