This week I held my first all hands meeting for my teams. Public speaking has never been easy for me, and my mantra remains do it scared. But I set the goal and I followed through. That alone felt like a milestone.
I kept the conversation centered on how we work together and how we continue to grow as a team. Simple themes. Clear direction. Shared ownership.
Standing in front of the room, I felt both nervous and proud. I am learning to lead out loud. I am learning to speak even when my voice shakes. And I am grateful for a team that grows with me.
